Privacy

How Lions Group Company Limited handles personal data in connection with this website.

Who is responsible

Lions Group Company Limited (registration no. CS681162015), KE Plaza, First Floor, Aligator Street, Accra, Ghana, is responsible for personal data processed through this website. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, organisation (optional), country, the solution area and your message, together with the page language and the time of your enquiry. To protect the form against abuse, we also keep pseudonymised (coded) forms of your IP address and email address for a limited time; they are still treated as personal data. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send. When you visit the website, the server that hosts it automatically records technical information such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry only to respond to you and discuss your project. We use server records and the coded IP address only to operate and secure the website. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Who processes it for us

Your enquiry is stored on our server and sent to our team's mailbox through our email service provider. Our team also receives a data-minimised notification through a messaging service, containing only the enquiry reference, solution area, country, language and time, and never your name, contact details or message.

Cookies

When you choose a language, one functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) remembers your choice for up to 12 months. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Hosting and where data is processed

The website is hosted by a hosting provider acting on our behalf. Our team works from Ghana and Italy, so your information may be processed in Ghana, in the European Union and in the countries where our hosting and service providers operate.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, or longer where the law requires. The coded IP address is removed from stored enquiries after 30 days. The coded email address used for abuse protection is deleted within 48 hours. Server records are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use. Contact us at the address above. You may also complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana or to your local data-protection authority.

Changes

We may update this privacy notice when our website, communication services or personal-data processing practices change. The latest version will be published on this page.
